I really wish I had endless funds to manufacture and package all my favorite recipes! Everyone should experience clean eating that tastes delicious!!! I've made this recipe 3 times in 3 weeks, twice for chili suppers, and it even placed 2nd in the Portland Senior Center cook off. People are loving it!
1 lb chorizo (We have several local options at Harbin Hollow Local Market!)
1 lb grass fed beef (Again, come see us at 809 N Broadway in Portland, Tn. We have the local meat!)
1 tbls olive oil
1 chopped green pepper
1 chopped onion
4 chopped cloves garlic
7 oz can of green chilis
1 cans of organic black beans
1 can organic kidney beans
15 oz can organic tomato sauce
2 cans organic diced tomatoes
1 tbls chili powder
1/2 tbls cumin
Pink Himalayan Salt & Black Pepper to taste
Sauté the pepper, garlic, onion in olive oil. Add chorizo and beef and brown. Add the remainder of ingredients and simmer for 1-2 hours on the stove top.
Sauté the pepper, garlic, onion in olive oil. Add chorizo and beef and brown. (I still do this on stove top. Just easier to me.) Add all other ingredients to the Instant Pot and transfer the meat mixture. Pressure cook on high for 30 minutes and let naturally release.
