All of this was from HHLM and was delicious. TikTok also sucked me in with a new kitchen gadget I did not need nor do I have the room for.
Have y'all tried the "Better Breader?" I got to admit, it works awesome! It's a batter bowl with a grid to separate the food your breading from the batter. You basically shake and sift for a no mess breading experience. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend! (Here's my affiliate link on Amazon if you're interested: https://amzn.to/3NbgBgI).
We tried it with air fried zucchini tonight. I sliced the zucchini thin and the breading was Grain + Honey Original Sourdough, Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. The bread has been in my fridge and was actually baked 12 days ago. I used it for garlic toast, too, and it was 💯.
We paired that with Alfresco Wisconsin Cheese Tortellini and Alfresco Bolognese. Man, it was sooooo good, and with clean up and all, it was less than an hour process. 1.5 hours with eat time!
What you need:
Alfresco Wisconsin Cheese Tortellini
G + H Sourdough
Salted Amish Roll Butter
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Boil some water.
For the Tortellini: open the Alfresco package from frozen and boil 2-4 minutes. Thaw bolognese and heat to 165 degrees, stovetop or microwave).
For the Zucchini: Use a food processor to make the breading with Parmesan, sourdough and Italian seasoning. Slice your zucchini thin. Beat some eggs in a bowl. Coat the zucchini in egg and use the Better Breader (or a gallon baggy) to bread. Place in single layer in air fryer and fry at 360 degrees for 10-12 minutes, flipping half way.
For the toast: spread with butter and sprinkle with garlic granules. Or preferably, Wise butter garlic basil butter, which I forgot! 😡 Toast in oven.
