These are an anticipated Christmas treat for us. This year, I decided to tweak the recipe and make some substitutions for a cleaner, healthier option, and it worked! ππΌ
1 pound local sausage- We use Hill Family Farm. π·
2 cups Kodiak Cakes Whole Grain Buttermilk Protein Waffle and Pancake Mix π§
1 pound (approx 3 cups) freshly grated cheddar from the block π§
Combine all ingredients, form into balls and bake at 375 degrees for 18-20 minutes.
I made these and a batch with Bisquick and could barely tell a difference.
