We had an oatmeal bar this morning!
I shared this in my Healthy in the Hollow (request time join and I'll approve!) group here on Facebook today but thought I'd also share here. Kids will eat healthy if you make it fun!
Mine love when we do "build your own" anything and today it was an oatmeal bar. Allowing them to make their own dish encourages decision-making and independence.
1 cup oat milk
1 cup water
1 cup oats (I use 1/2 steel cut and 1/2 7 grain)
Grass fed butter
Local raw honey
The kids loved it and we served it with our morning "tea" at the table where we sipped water out of Lylah's pink and green tea set.
This is what I call a Sunday Funday!
