Over five years ago, I set out on a health and wellness journey that started with me working on my physical health. Join me in letting go of some burdens and always know you're not alone! Find strength in your vulnerability.
My kids are sick. One can argue that's bad for business seeing as I sell elderberry syrup & swear by all its many benefits. The truth of the matter is kids get sick. My goal is to have tons of tools in my arsenal when they do.
It's been awhile since I got up before the sun and squeezed in a workout before the rest of the house awakens. I've missed it! As life increasingly gets busier and busier, I HAVE to remind myself to make time for self care. I have a history of substance abuse and depression. Exercise, clean-eating, mindfulness, and my faith saved me from a life of sadness filled with antidepressants and pharmaceutical treatments. Always remember, you can't pour from an empty cup. To take care of those you love, you have to bring your A-game. It often feels selfish, but it's actually one of the most #selfless acts. Trust me on this one. Been there done that. 😉 #finallyfriday...
