You never know if you don't try, right?
It has been just over two months since I sold my first bottle of elderberry syrup. I made a post on my personal FB page on Dec 8 sharing my recipe with a picture of the multiple jars I made for my family. Since then, I've bottled and sold over 22 gallons out of my home.
On Friday, we paid the deposit to a co-packer to have our first 40 gallon batch of elderberry syrup handcrafted in an FDA inspected facility. I'm still sourcing the same quality ingredients including #localhoney from here in Portland, TN. Their process mimics mine only multiplied by 40. The new labels are almost done and will include a bar code with ISBN # and a nutrition panel. I'm most excited about becoming one of the Pick TN Products!
The moral of the story is GO FOR IT. I'm scared, anxious, afraid of failing, but I know I'd be way more upset if I didn't give it my best shot. I'm full of gratitude for all of you who have already purchased our products and liked/shared our journey on social media. WE CAN DO HARD THINGS! But you have to take that first step...
